We Are Open for All Your Dental Needs – With Safety as Our Top Priority
In alignment with the recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA) and those provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), our practice has instituted infection control protocol that meets or exceeds the Center for Disease Control’s Standard Precautions for Dental Practices.
Enhanced Safety Procedures
We are continuing to act with an abundance of caution and we are actively executing enhanced safety procedures and taking all the necessary steps to ensure patient interaction and care is completed with strict infection control protocol in place.
Our practice is implementing a series of enhanced safety measurements, including:
- As a precaution, our care team will ask several screening questions prior to your visit and once again when you arrive for your appointment. We request that any patient or staff member experiencing signs/symptoms proactively self-quarantine for two weeks.
- We will also conduct a pre-screening assessment using an infrared, no-touch thermometer as recommended by the ADA. Patients are asked to report any fever that occurs up to 48 hours after their appointment.
- Our visitor policy and check-in process have been updated to reduce the number of people in the office. Details will be shared with you when you book your appointment.
- We are asking patients to please sanitize their hands when first entering the office and upon leaving their appointment.
- We will do our best to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at one time, allow more time between patients, and reduce waiting times.
Changes for Everyone’s Safety
We have made several changes in the office for the safety of our patients and our staff. All our team members are equipped with a higher level of PPE than recommended by the CDC for dental offices. We are performing more frequent cleanings throughout the day and between patients and we are using CDC and EPA approved cleaning agents. We are committed to keeping our facilities sanitized to the highest standards and to practicing good hygiene.
Updated Patient Guidelines for Appointments
Please read through this list of guidelines to make sure you are fully prepared for your upcoming visit:
- Please brush, floss, and rinse your mouth prior to coming in.
- Please always wear a face covering or a mask when entering the office and when not being treated. Anyone accompanying a patient into the office must also have a mask or face covering.
- When you arrive, call the office number, and remain in your car – we will let you know when to come in.
- Only one parent/guardian/escort may accompany the patient into the office. No one else without an appointment is allowed. We have suspended visits from non-essential staff and outside vendors.
- Patients are being asked to refrain from using their cellphones during the appointment.
- Anyone entering the office will be asked to answer a few questions about their current health status and will have their temperature taken. Any patient with a runny nose, fever, coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea will need to reschedule. If you are not feeling well, and your appointment is less than five (5) days away, please call to reschedule.
If you have any questions, need to make an appointment, or reschedule an existing one, please call our office directly. We look forward to welcoming each of our patients, and as always, we value your trust and loyalty.
